Merry Christmas from Talbot Manor

Merry Christmas from Talbot Manor!

I am writing this on my new electronic keyboard, which has been very kindly given to me by my daughter Lady Kate for Christmas. I had asked for a new hunting mac and wellies but apparently the "mac" part got lost in translation. So here I am on the Interweb and I'll try and make the most of it.

The annual grouse shoot went very well this morning. We started the proceedings with a few mince pies and few swigs of some lovely 60 year old single malt Lord Curran had brought. Both Lord Curran and Viscount McCleary found it most amusing when I inadvertently shot one of the servants. It was decided that for Christmas dinner we would therefore be eating Grouse stuffed inside a Turkey which would then be stuffed inside the servant.

The whole thing would then be served to us by the other servants. I think it will be a lesson to them!

It's off to the hunt tomorrow. Tally ho!
